Richard was a proud US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was active in the Garfield Hts. Senior Center and he also volunteered at the Village of Marymount for several years.

Calabro (deceased); dearest mother of Nick (Mary), Terry Karwan (Rick, deceased), MaryEllen Drewes (Henry), Bill (Malynda), Joseph (deceased); loving grandmother of nine; dear great-grandmother of ten; great-great-grandmother of 2; dear sister of Mary Novalony, Carmelo and Carol Herip (all deceased), Rose Campagna and Maryanne Villicana. Josephine was a long-time volunteer at the Garfield Hts. Senior Center and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year. Nothing was ever wasted in her hands. She was known for her needlework, clever sense of humor and love of writing poetry.
