Diane Woods - Hudson
July 26, 1956 - January 30, 2021
Lifelong companion of Delwyn L Hudson; dearest mother of Delwyn and Charmaine; loving grandmother of Alexus and Cameron; great-grandmother of Hailey, Ava, and Melody; dear sister of Deborah, Joyce, and Dennis. Diane was kind and loving, the true definition of God’s grace. Easy on the heart and light on the spirit. She taught us a wordless connection of LOVE !
Mama, she loved with a closed eye. Her touch was like the most loving so she love taking her time and her cooking was so fine it was one of a kind she love the moon and stars she knew her kids or one of a kind she taught us near and far she called us kids her special stars one was radar the other Nelly don’t you dare tell her you have an empty belly she always taught us to be kind because you could never go back in time her love for us out of this world she never try to disturb us for if she only knew the two of us kids grew through her the love she gave us always carried us through mama always gave the world any walks of life the shirt off her back she knew it would always come back that’s how she taught us kids that love was always true mama was always patient and understanding that’s how she taught us faith no matter where we were standing. We could never express our mother enough for the ink of the pen would not with stand. The very essence of our mother was like a dove heavenly father above tell her she is always loved until we meet again up above your daughter and son was taught how to love. Mamas’ laughter when we gathered is now the music to our feet when we feel defeat she taught us well enough that before we go to sleep counter sheep and thank the Lord above mama you will always be one of a kind enjoy dancing in the sky with daddy because that’s what we vision in our minds. Mama had two sisters, no amount of time could ever change the love and affection they gave one another when it was time to pull together and support each other! She loved her sisters so much that the times they’re meeting it was like our mother was a little kid with an Alien mind! She was silly and goofy and would be saddened when the time had ended. But yet again they would gather again! Many hours would go by and mama would soak up her sisters again! Mamas big brother was her protector! There was so much love there and a respect we had never seen before! Mama and Her brother Dennis had a bond that when they’d get together it taught another form of love, always forgiven, laughter and business. Mama lived with her brother for a long time and began to shine, for she knew it was time to live all over again! The strength between them two was very healing much like the sisters, they were a ball of love! Mama enjoyed her birds and nature, music, reading, cooking, but most of all gatherings together were her favorite!
Per Diane’s request no services will be held. Her family and friends will continue to celebrate her and her life every single day.
